The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) Office of Public Health’s (OPH) mission is to protect and promote the health and wellness of all individuals and communities in Louisiana.
  • In support of OPH’s mission, LDH’s Environmental Public Health Tracking Program (LDH Tracking) and the Bureau of Health Informatics (BHI) launched the Data Explorer.
  • This online data and mapping tool is the state’s most comprehensive source for environmental and health information and data concerning Louisiana.

Together with our partners, including the data stewards, health and environmental officials, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the data explorer provides a broad range of indicators and measures to the public, health officials, practitioners, researchers, scientists and decision makers.
